EQUILIBRIUM Little Mark

About the series

What it is

EQUILIBRIUM – Little Mark is a pencil-drawn animated series, with a comic for every episode, by Răzvan Dragomir. Each episode runs about 90 seconds. It is part of a wider project about living a balanced life across four pillars: Physical, Mental, Financial and Social.

The characters

Mark is 40: capable, tired and always “starting Monday”. Little Mark is Mark at nine, and he only asks questions. Mr. Feed is society’s feed, a friendly salesman with a phone for a head. He is never a villain, which is why he is hard to say no to.

How each episode works

First, the version society sells you, drawn in a cool, cluttered line. Then the freeze: Little Mark asks one question. An eraser wipes the picture clean and we see the version that works, in a warm, clean line. It ends with one small test and one line to remember.

The one-week test

Every episode ends with the same idea: do not decide whether something is true by thinking about it for longer. Make the smallest version of it and run it for seven days. Write down what happened, and adjust. A good-enough prediction plus a small test beats a perfect forecast you never act on. The episodes show how he thinks, not what to believe.

What it is not

There is no call to action in the episodes, and they are not medical, financial or psychological advice. Where it matters, they point to a doctor, a therapist or an adviser.

Language

The voices are always in English. Romanian is available as subtitles and in the Romanian comic. The subtitles are part of the video picture, so there are two versions of each video.

Look

The art is drawn in a pencil style with a single orange accent, the colour of Little Mark’s T-shirt.
